removing couch/bed from a 1978 22 foot Argosy
My son wants us to remove one of the built-in couch beds in our trailer so he can put in a desk. Any thoughts on how removing this bed would affect the structural integrity?

It should have no effect on the structure. You will be surprised on how little there is to the construction of the bed and it's supports.
