Putting in new carpet

Currently, we have no carpet. Just the metal floor. I had a good size piece of scrap in the attic. I took it down, went and took every measurement in my 6 Meter and traced it onto my carpet for cutting. I realized that cutting from the backside would be easiest so I traced it out and started cutting. Once I was finished I realized what I had done......
My carpet was now cut backwards!!!!! ARGGGGGG!!!

While measuring, I was thinking there had to be an easier way. What better place to ask then here?

Anyone have any hints on replacing the carpet in these puppies?

Thanks

First, you take a piece of carpet.....

...measure verrry carefully...and cut it backwards.

Afterwards, you temporarily install it upside down to make sure it fits.

Then, you lay IT back to back with a GOOD carpet, voila!

Instant Template!
