Hi
These are the first pics of my new-to-me '79 Argosy Minuet 7.3.
Getting the floor cleaned up looking for rot and damp. You can see the rot to the right of the door, so far thats all in the main cabin area. Still have to locate the leak. I'll begin the repair this afternoon. Lots of cleaning to do after 33 yrs. Then prime the floor and start the floor covering and replace the gaucho.
The replacement fridge came right out as did the original cabinet pcs. Pretty simple consruction. Not sure what will go back, I have a 3 way fridge, or the newer 120V one.
The tank is out being cleaned. All the 12 V while old seems to be in excellent condition.
Do you think the 2X4 mag rack is strong enough????
Has anyone put down a cork floor? It seems to be the lightest wt material. I have laminate flooring but I'm very wt concious.
Greetings, and welcome! It's great to see more Argosies getting well cared for, now hopefully someday I'll see one while camping in ours.
Airstream has made such interesting choices... our converter is on the floor of the bathroom closet, yours is right next to where the fresh-water tank goes. Maybe that's incentive for owners to maintain the plumbing properly?
