Panoramic Window "flat" dimensions (Lexan)

Does anyone, specifically those who have cut a piece of flat Lexan and curved it into the proper shape, know where to find the FLAT dimensions of the Argosy panoramic windows? As in BEFORE one bends the Lexan to fit.

Silly question?

We're in the process of cutting it and are very close after measuring the curved frame incrementally, etc, but thought it was worth asking to compare or as a reference--I can share ours later once we're done.

Thanks!

p.s. or if you're selling a roadside window!

Not silly. I have asked several times if the old can be flattened with heat, in order to make a template. No replies. I have not ever seen any post with dimensions nor template availability.
I also would like to know if lexan (polycarbonate) can make the curve without heating...or will it craze and crack.

Edit: I reread. I was referencing the window rock guards and you are talking about the window. But really, same issues. Different dimensions.

Hello Argosy Owners, something that I learned awhile back about transferring surfaces that might help, was to take a sheet of butcher paper and place it over the object. In this case the window opening, then take a pencil to shade in the edges. Once all edges are traced, remove it then cut out the pattern. You can now place the form on the flat Lexan sheet.

This process sounds complicated, but, worked for me on curved projects.

Good Luck.

This is a better way than what we did, which was to slowly clamp the actual Lexan to the frame. I feel a bit silly not thinking of butcher paper or similar, etc, but hope everyone overlooks that pinch of idiocy.

We used a dremel to fine tune our cuts--tedious, but going slow found that it worked without cracking or splitting the lexan.
