1. Yes, will set some $ aside for axle replacement. Good tip on board test, will try that on my 2008 AS. A supply center in CA offers fully built axles in 10” or 12”, do you know what size is on the 1974?

2. Thanks. Seems like there are all kinds of #s being thrown around, wasn’t sure about where to look for definitive guide on such figures.

3. I bought 7round to 7flat adapter to avoid cutting/rewiring from trailer, hopefully adapter will solve that headache.

I love the beautiful white, goes well with your TV. Would love to see more of interior pics, likely just as amazing as exterior.

First things first, axles and wheels for me.
There ya go for some inside pics. Took all of these with the tablet I post from in hopes of straight pics. If I rotate them and save them rotated it still post them upside down??

There should be tags on your axles dead center on the front side normally. The information on tags is about the only way to really identify what axles your trailer has on it. From what I've read our early year Argosy's are a crap shoot of what was on hand at the time it was being built, and that goes for a number of systems.

Hi. So I ripped out my carpet and padding. Just noticed you have new floors. What did you end up using? Folks have been recommending Smartcore waterproof vinyl. How was the flooring process for you?

We put real wood down and love it. We glued it in but did use a nail or two in a few problematic areas. The installation was smooth and fairly easy. The floor has been down right at three years now and it still looks as good as it did when we installed it.

Thanks. So many people were afraid of real wood bc of weight concerns. I am not looking forward to all the angles and cuts and funny shaped edges, not sure how to make it fit perfectly.

I have not put the trailer on the scales since the floor was put down, but all of the settings on the hitch remained the same. I also noticed no difference in towing.

Start from the center run and work your way out towards the bulkheads. We started in the bathroom, had the most special cuts, and worked our way forward. Once out of the bathroom things got a lot easier as there was room to maneuver.

Wow! Amazing job. Just quickly reading what your approach was, why the self etching primer and then then the fillable primer after? And why block sanding instead of using an electric sander? ( I assume that is hand sanding?). Did you leave the single stage poly as the only coat of that? No clear coat? What did you do for sealing the roof? Thanks for any info. I just posted in the roof restore section and wasn’t aware this argosy section existed till after. I’ve got lots of ambition and not enough knowledge to do this just yet even though I’ve started prepping the roof already.
