New guy, should I buy a 1978

Craigslist add:

1978 Argosy Travel Trailer. Sleeps 4. Has 4 burner Stove and Oven, Heat, Shower, Toilet, Sink, Refridgerator, Awning, 2 spare tires. No leaks. good condition $4,700 obo. Pictures on request. Call Tom

Any idea what the tall vent on the street side is all about?

Seeing how the original poster is from Alaska, I would bet it is some kind of wood or coal burning stove. I doubt it a Suburban furnace could keep up with and Alaskan winter.
