new fridge - Old Argosy - need opinions/experience

Good day!!

I have a question about a new fridge. Will I expect to have to modify the cabinetry when I get my new RM2451? The wheel well kinda pushes into the fridge opening. the old fridge compensated for this by having no "leg" in that corner. The old fridge is not three legged that leg is just situated a bit towards the fridge door. I was thinking I could modify the support of the fridge instead of modifying the cabinetry.

any thoughts/opinions/experience is greatly appreciated.

Modifying the cabinets would be the last thing I would want to do. Moving a leg that will never be seen is a much better option in my opinion. Are you going to have to get 12 volts to the new refrigerator? The old ones don't need it, but the new ones do.

... Which makes me very happy that I was able to get my old Dometic working properly again on gas!

I have 12V nearby. Previous owner always thought ahead.

I am hoping that someone else has attempted this on our Argosys. And am wondering if reworking the leg will even work.

for instance: say I can get the moved forward; will the fridge opening underneath be tall enoough to go over the wheel well?

After thoroughly reviewing the Installation, Operation, and Parts Manuals for the Dometic RM2451 and the Norcold N410 refrigerators it is very clear to me that I will not be able to easily modify the refrigerators to install in my Argy 22.

I've called two RV fridge repair places and both said no to repairing my model (RM40 or RM44 I can't remember which it is right now). I really do not want to modify my cabinetry. any other ideas for repair/replacement of the cooling unit?
