Mystery Mounting Points ??? Any Ideas

The device on the roof in the left portion of your photo appears to be one of your tank vents. This is one of the areas that must be monitored for leaks on our coaches. There is a hidden gasket inside of the shroud that seals the vent pipe to the roof and that gasket needs to be replaced about every third year. The device toward the front also looks like it may be a plumbing vent as well (possibly for the galley sink?).

The device on the side of your coach is not familiar to me. My speculation is that it may have been an attaching point for an aftermarket exterior table or something of that nature. A second possibility might be that it was an attachment point for a tire shield that was installed to protect the tires when the coach was in storage.

Good luck with your investigation!

Kevin

When you say "main vent" for the AC do you mean the ceiling assembly or the exterior shroud or..?

Here is a site with some parts diagrams:

PPL also sells the ceiling assembly:

I don't see any top mounts. I see two sewer vents.

Eastern South Dakota is very pretty with hills, rivers, and trees.
