Makes sense when you tell the story that way
Similar for us:
Knew we wanted one, came from tents then a pop up. New was out of the budget so we looked around for used and thought we would just keep trading up. We lucked out and found a 65 24' TW double locally. Made it safe to tow, and lots of cleaning and we have a great aluminum tent. Realized we wanted a dedicated bed plus the great storage we have in this one so we spotted a 62 28' Ambassador. This one has everything underneath and in the walls already done with a empty interior.
So both need lots of work but are towable and campable. Plan is to plug along on both for a while and grow our fondness for the 62 as we separate ourselves from the 65 and maybe let another family realize their dream.
Hooked but good.........
