Leak fundamentals

Can someone point out where I might find some fundamental truths of leak repair? I find exhaustive methods of inspection and detection, but have yet to find a comprehensive source for repair. I've got several small leaks (nothing obvious) that forced me to cover our Argosy for the winter. I've found specific things like window sealing, but is there a post I've yet to find?

You can start with all the black gaskets for the opening windows, access doors, entrance door and the sewer vent pipe cover gaskets, that you cannot see unless you remove a cover.

Next, is missing rivets.

Then you can do a visual chek on all the gray colored gaskets that hold the glass into the sash on each and every window.

That would be an excellent starting point.

Start on the roof and work down...

I have used...

Acryl-r for narrow gap repair. Panel seams and rain gutters etc.

Loctite PPL polyurethane and Sika UV for roof.. skylight, black tank vent etc.

And Parbond Aluminum for visible repairs, good match..

One of these comes in handy for finding them...

Have fun...

Bob
