Argosy rebuild order

I'm planning my rebuild and need some advice on the order I should go in. These are high level, I know there will be hundreds of smaller steps

1. Gut the interior
2. Remove all windows, vent, etc... to be refurbished
3. fix any shell issues
4. Remove shell and fix frame and replace the floor
5. re attach shell
6. Paint exterior
7. re attach refurbished windows, vents, etc
8. Interior

OR

1. Gut the interior
2. Remove all windows, vent, etc... to be refurbished
3. fix any shell issues
4. re attach refurbished windows, vents, etc
5. Remove shell and fix frame and replace the floor
6. re attach shell
7. Paint exterior
8. Interior

I'm not sure if I should refurbish windows and reinstall before painting or after. If I do it before, the shell behind the window frames won't have fresh paint and the caulking around the windows may mess up the look of the new paint (can the caulk be painted?). As I write this I'm thinking re attach windows after painting...anyway please let me know your thoughts from lessons learned.

Gut the interior, remove the shell, fix the frame, do the floor, put the shell back on, then do the windows, doors, interior, paint in any order. Vulkem sealant can be painted. It will likely be easiest to do the windows when the interior is out after you have the shell reinstalled. Seal the inside of the shell with seam sealer.

I rebuilt windows before paint. Just make sure you use a paint-able caulking. They were installed and caulked before paint from factory. If you do not want painted windows then I would consider installing them after paint.
