I've got someone local to sew me some new curtains. Can a fellow Argosy person snap a photo of their curtains and possibly measure the pleats and count the number of tabs required for me?
She didn't want the pleats to be too big as she didn't think they would fit behind the gaucho when folded. Therefore, it would require many smaller pleasts and some 250 tabs. This seemed very excessive so I thought I'd turn to the experts.
Hi Dan. When I make curtains, I put the pleats 3" apart with a tab between each pleat. I wouldnt make them much further apart, you could go 4 if need be and it would take less tabs. It takes a lot of tabs either way. I have a couple of pictures from an argosy for you to look at. Hope it helps!
Here is a picture of the G and T tabs. I place them as close to the top as possible without them being seen on the other side, if that makes sense. Hope it helps!
Thank you SOOOO much for the pictures...Most helpful..I was going to put them on Totally wrong!
