Argosy 24' - 1973 raffle for fundraiser!

I have a 1973 Argosy 24 trailer and an idea. My hometown ( Plymouth Watershed ) has a watershed project going on that started after the bad floods of June 06 here in central NY. We have some fund raisers going on to for a "matching" grant where we will get $175k if we match that amount. I think we have 3 years to match the funds. This grant will help in stream restoration and maintenance to help prevent what happened last year (many peoples houses were destroyed in the flooding). As such, as part of this fund raising, I was thinking of taking my Argosy and raffling it off - for $25 a ticket until we got up towards $5000 and then draw a winner! Got a few questions. What are the legal implications of doing this? If I sell 200 tickets, that would be $5000 towards our grant and so you'd have a 1 in 200 chance at a cool Argosy 24. Would people be interested. Here are a few pictures of the Argosy. It's growing on me, so I have to decide soon. Let me know the interest! It needs work, but I intend to get the new floor installed up front, put in a Gaucho from a 63 Airstream I have, and get systems running.

Rob,

It's a good idea, and it is one that I was pondering for my Safari. I was going to sell 150 tickets at $10.00-$15.00 Each. I am still loosing money, but it is a project that I cannot work on anymore.

Rob,

Talk to Jbond (Herb Spies) about the rules, they went through the process for the trailer they auctioned off last year.

Congratulations on the sale of your taillights.
