Adding to my Argosy family

I can't believe it. I am currently still working on my 77 Argosy 24 but along comes a 77 Argosy 24 Rear Door and I'm on my way to look at it this week! It appears to be in pretty nice shape and I can't wait to get a good up close look at it. It's all original and everything is intact. Like I needed another project! I am thrilled though. Just a little addition to my addiction. My husband is going to fall over when he sees another one in the driveway! One of these days I'll make it to a rally.

If there's anything specific I should be looking for in a rear door model please feel free to let me know.

Addiction? I think this is normal. Argosy addiction would most likely involve having each model from each year. I think you don't have to join a group yet

Thanks Janet!

I just can't wait to see it. My kids are already planning the road trips. This one appears to be in much better shape than the one I have. It's been loved. I hope all goes well and I can bring it home soon. As far as having a collection of one from every year. I would have to work up to that. I'll need to work on my restoration skills. Big time! It's nice to find a place where I'm considered "normal".
Most of the people I know think I've lost it when it comes to buying "old campers" . They just don't get it. That's why I like hanging our here!

I am lucky to live in the county where there are "so far" no zoning restrictions. AS and Argosy attraction is alive and well here.

Well.... I went to look at the rear door and I didn't buy it. I thought for sure I would be leaving there the new owner of it. I'm a bit dissapointed. It needed more work than I am willing to do at the moment considering mine is still a work in progress. It didn't seem that bad and if I wasn't more than half way done mine or didn't have mine I probably would have jumped on it. It's still pretty well snowed in so I couldn't get around it or under it much to see anything on the outside. Maybe I'll have a chance to go back when the snow melts a bit and get a better look.
