Ok guys this may have been asked before, and TG Twinkie has been helping me some messages.
I have attached a picture of how my trailer 1972 Argosy 20ft was wired to the 7 way plug... one thing I found wrong was the reverse lights were connected to positive (black) wire for the trailer plug that has since been changed. I will be added a connection/junction box... but I have a couple of wires from the trailer plug I don’t know what they would hook to on the trailer side... here’s what I know
Trailer plug into tv To Trailer side
Red Red left turn/stop
Brown Brown right turn/stop
Green Green running lights
Yellow Black reverse lights
Blue (big wire)
Black ???
White ????
I also have a white cable laying down on the ground it is marked in the picture as brake cable, cause that is what is labeled on the cable wire, it has a black and white wire with in it.
Also how can I hook up a new breakaway switch as well... I do not have a battery installed in the trailer... there are wire big wires near the converter and 12 volt fuse panel not hooked up.... black, white, red, and blue... I can post a picture of that later if needed...
any help is greatly appreciated, I am pretty handy, I have changed out starters and dropped a transmission to change a fly wheel before, but the wiring for this trailer plug might push me over the edge.

This is most likely what they are:

Blue = trailer brakes
black = 12v power to trailer
white = ground

Check the position that each wire has to your tow vehicle. this will answer the questions for certian.

The cable labeled brakes has the wire that sends power to the brakes and the ground for the brakes. Most likely the white is the ground and the black is the hot to the brakes.

Here is the wiring for the new breakaway switch.

one wire needs to be hooked up to the 12V power post in your junction box and the other one needs to be hooked up to your brake power post in the junction box.

The blue one is your charge line. To charge trailer battery from TV.
