The choice between front lounge and dinette was probably the only major floor plan difference that was offered as an option on the 6 Metre. It was a $50.00 upgrade/option on the 6.0 Metre to obtain the dinette -- the lounge was standard. My Minuet has the front lounge, and it really helps to make the 6.0 Metre seem roomy.
The photo below is of my Minuet's front lounge prior to the interior refurbishment -- the burnt orange check is the original upholstery -- if it weren't for sun degradation along the tops of the cushions, the upholstery wasn't bad for a 26 year old coach (this photo was taken shortly after my purchase).
The lounge construction on the Minuet is
very different from that used in my '64 Overlander -- virtually all of the framing and most of the structure is aluminum -- it does have a very sturdy feel in day-to-day use.
