The easiest method to answer your question is to visit the website of the manufacturer of your tires. Look for an inflation chart for the model tire that you have on your trailer and inflate for the load being carried. This does require having your trailer weighed, but the GVWR on the VIN tag would give you an approximation from which to start. It does make a difference according to tire size and Load Range rating. I run Load Range D on both my
1964 Airstream Overlander Land Yacht International (26-feet, 5,500 pounds loaded) as well as on my 1978 Argosy Minuet 6.0 Metre (20`feet, 3,000 pounds loaded), and the recommendation has differed between tire manufacturers as well as between Load Range C and Load Range D.
