Hi Tim,
That was the meatest white meat show yet! Thanks for working on R.J. Dial to come on the show and share his experiences in Airstream restoration.
Need more ideas for the show? Have R.J. Dial return and continue to enlighten his follower's, of which I am one, on the pleasures and pain that awaits all that are bitten with Aluminitius.
I for one did as much research as I could before buying my vintage Airstream and found R.J.'s site invaluable when making decision's on the purchase and restoration of my trailer. Because of R.J's suggestion's and opinion's concerning restoration or remodeling I was convinced that restoration was the best course for my trailer.
R.J. Dial can be given much credit for my trailer winning the Gold level concours de Elegance at the last WBCCI International Rally. Had I not studied his recommedations over and over, I would probably have ripped and gutted my
1962 Safari. Things would have turn out much differently then they have.
Thanks to Rob and Colin for their contributions to your show and keeping the faith and the excitment of Airstream ownership.
