I'm really sorry to hear this.

When we got our first Andy helped me out by phone and forum. Saved my bacon more than once too.

A bit crusty on the forum but very nice and informative off.

RIP Sir.

Yes, we have courtesy parking for you. About an hour North of Los Angeles.

Andy was always willing to share his extensive knowledge of AS information as we restored our 68 Safari a number of years ago. One day we had stopped by his shop to pick up some parts with the AS in tow. Andy came out to see how it was coming and ended up spending close to an hour chatting with us and entertaining our 5 year old granddaughter just like another grandfather. We miss him greatly.

I don’t post on here very often, but I had the pleasure of meeting Andy in person a couple times, and am grateful for the opportunity. There is no denying his wealth of knowledge when it came to Airstreams.

Andy's comments on the Forum were always expert, informed, and concise. I really enjoyed "knowing" Andy via this Forum and I will miss him greatly.

Condolences to his family.

RIP Andy
