‘Aluminitis’ brings campers to rally

I found this link at the Savewally site today: ‘Aluminitis’ brings campers to rally - Reporter-Herald, Loveland, Colo.
It's from the Region 11 Rally in Loveland CO. We have camped with Tom a Patti a couple of times and they are very special people. This year at the RMVAC, Patti held a class to teach the women to tow. At the end of the rally, Jan hitched up the trailer and drove the first short leg of the trip.

We just got back home...altho the rally is still going on through Tuesday. We have to go back to work tomorrow

Pretty good turn out (even for the open house.) despite the gloomy/drippy/near freezing weather...anytime we can get together with our Airstream buddies is a good time! We missed you Richard...maybe next time!

Nice write-up, thanks for posting it to share! We saw it in the paper this morning and all ran out to get more copies for Tom & Patti ~

It would have been great to be there, but we had the Balloon Fiesta last weekend and Jan gets zero paid time off. Did they mention where the R11 Rally would be next year?

I know the feeling...that's why we came home tonight. Thank goodness it was only an hour away!

It is going to be in Fort Collins...at a really nice campground, it used to be a private one called Heron Lake - but they just turned it into a KOA...a VERY NICE KOA ~

Thanks for posting the article Richard! We didn't get to go to this rally because I had to work. I am an Accountant and I had to work all weekend doing quarter end books for clients. Maybe next time though.
