Airstreams in Southwest Airlines Magazine
I saw an article on Seaside FL in the inflight magizine. It highlights a "trailer food court" and all of the trailers are Airstreams. Looks pretty neat!

There are now six Airstreams operational in Seaside's roadside food court.

Seaside Florida
This trailer food court must have planted a seed in my head. I have been vacationing in Seaside for many years while admiring the Frost Bites Airstream. This Thanksgiving, I will return with my own Airstream to Grayton Beach State Park. I will have to drive in front of the "food court" and snap a photo. That photo will combine my love of Airstreams and County Road 30A on the panhandle. Can't wait!

I don't know if you are aware that Grayton now has a number of newly developed campsites with full hook-ups.

I dunno... I'm seeing more and more vintage Airstreams being chopped up for use as vending trailers. Some of them in very nice shape originally. Almost a shame unless the trailer was nearly ready for the scrap heap initially.

Any Place To Park
We will be traveling in this area in a few weeks with a couple of other units. Does anyone know if there is somewhere close where we could park without unhitching just to walk around the square and enjoy the food and of course the Airstreams?

It doesn't look like there is much but there are some along the highway if you got there early enough.

It looks like great place to hang out.

Bike Path Warning
Beautiful area, but watch out for the bike path there.
They advertise it as a safe place to ride -- it's not! I broke my arm in an near miss with a BMW. In the hospital, the nurse told me that there have been five fatalities on that path.
That said, it is a beautiful area and we plan to go back to Grayton Beach State Park..... without the bikes.

My family goes there every summer. Seaside is one of the more popular spots on 30A. Parking with the AS anywhere near the main drag of Seaside along 30A may be tricky.
The airstream food court is pretty cool and worth a visit!
