Airstream on the Tiny House Blog

Here is a link to a feature article on the "Tiny House Blog" about a 1978 Airstream remodeled into a very slick tiny home. The author's Airstream history is a little off, but it is a really neat renovation.

That is so slick. IMHO it takes a lot of guts to get rid of it all and live simply. Thanks for sharing.

The Tiny House website has a whole bunch of other interesting non-wheeled small housing options.

I want to know about the "fake" tile in the bathroom (that looks so doggoned good). Are there air conditioners? A furnace? An oven? If it never moves from the house site in SoCal, then it's nice job.

Wonder if he knows about rear frame sag?

Yes, that's a good site to go through. So is:

This Tiny House

for more wheeled (and non) small living spaces.

I'm pretty sure that the owner of the 1978 AS is a member here. I seem to recall seeing some pictures of his renovation here. It's a really sharp reno!
