Partner Cop

Now that other cop can see the creatures it should be interesting, too. Why can he see them if he isn't a Grimm? Will the girlfriend have feelings for the guy that kissed her?
Yep, I enjoy the AS interior shots as well.

Watching the storm from up here in the north east. We pray for all those living on the Gulf Coast. I was a volunteer helping rebuild in Buloxi & New Orleans after the last big storm.

My thought, too.

Maybe Hank is a mixed-blood Grimm, had an ancestor who was a Grimm but married a non-Grimm so those tendencies are latent rather than dominant.

Our favorite character is Monroe.

Yes, I like the Monroe character. He compliments the others with his non chalance and wit. He's believable......the real hero.

Hank might be able to see them ever since his encounter with that hexenbeast love potion that nearly killed him. Some residual magic…

Here in the New Orleans area, Hurricane Isaac is just a bad rainstorm, so far. There was one brief tornado warning for New Orleans East and Slidell. Otherwise conditions have been mild enough that rubberneckers have been going out to the Lakefront to watch the waves, to the point that the police had to chase them off. The overnight hours should be the worst, with the greatest chance of flooding and power outages, with things gradually improving during the day Wednesday. By Thursday, it should be mostly over except the cleanup.

Aaah, that's possible.

We will not get to see every episode, so y'all will have to keep us filled in.

So glad to see the storm wasn't as bad as feared.

I see this thread so I will put in a little story. About a month ago the Art Director for the "Grimm" show contacted me to see if I had a Bargman L-100. They needed one for a special shoot they were doing. Watch close you will see the lock I sold him.

My 15 seconds of TV fame.

Well, Doug isn't interested in Perception, although he wasn't interested in Grimm, either, at first.

It's easy for us at this point, but for the time slot which I would prefer to be an hour earlier. . Had to have a little caffeine mid-day yesterday to be sure I didn't fall asleep before it was over. (not a night person, I are a morning person!)

I still love this show! The airstream sucked me in, but the characters kept me watching!

Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse... but you take a boat in the air that you don't love... she'll shake you off just as sure as the turn of the worlds.

Maggie,

I watch the episodes at Grimm - All Videos : Newest - Videos - NBC.com . That way I'm not tied to a tv schedule. If you have a decent internet connection it works great. If you keep getting a loading sign pause for a couple of minutes and hit play again. Most major networks have full episodes (legally) online of the most popular shows.

Not the case. Nick asked Monroe to reveal his inner self to his girlfriend but she fainted before she saw it due to the cat scratch potion. So this indicates that if they want to they can reveal themselves to regular people, they just control it the rest of the time. Grimms have the ability to see thru their disguise all the time. Hank saw Monroe because Monroe was keeping in his form to lead the search dogs away.

People don't always see them in their true form because it's hard to process things you don't understand and who wants to be called crazy because they saw a werewolf.

At least this is what I understand from watching the show.

Grimm Globe Trotter

I am just getting into all the tv series I recorded during August on my tv-free "retreat" in North Carolina. One series was "Once Upon a Time" (no Airstreams yet), also looks a lot like the Pacific NW, although the script and props say it's Maine. Tonight I started "Grimm" and saw the Globe Trotter. I thought I would post about it, and realized how much catching up I have to do on the forums, too. I'm enjoying these fantasy shows, the cast members are really good. I don't think kids now would know the back stories or original stories from which these shows are derived. I think they stand alone as good writing will. I'm an English major, and I learned about the violence of the Grimm's tales, as well as the "happy ending" tales spun together on "Once Upon a Time".

Has anyone downloaded the Grimm e-book? I am curious to know if it is a spoiler, or a good way to catch up, since I'm so late in catching the August episodes.

I hope the Globe Trotter makes frequent appearances. By the way, in the "Bad Teeth" episode, I need to check this again, the name of the container ship is "Globe"-something. The vessels of travel having similar names is an interesting bit of trivia.

The locale is and appears to be shot in the Portland Oregon area. I've been in both Portlands...although it has been awhile for Maine...I'm convinced that it's Oregon. Certainly there are sound stage shots elsware. The '65 Globetrotter interior views has to be. I'd love to have THAT much space for my 'stuff'.

Being from Portland, I can say that the show is shot here and in the surrounding area (the Astoria bridge is actually in Astoria!). I mistakenly thought I read that Silas Weir Mitchell (Monroe) was a clock hobbyist in real life, and I emailed him to see if he'd like to come over to my place to see an unusual wooden clock that I have. Never heard back from him, then found out I was wrong, so emailed back to say "Nevermind"!

It is filmed in and around Vancouver, BC.

It is filmed in Portland, OR and there are regular casting calls for extras locally.
