Post Airstream featured in the Saturday Evening Post

Not sure if you saw the latest issue of the Saturday Evening Post -- but my husband and I were featured (in all of our full-timing and Airstreaming glory) in an article about what "home" means these days. It takes a look at those of us who consider 200 square feet enough for daily living (and who don't require a permanent home base) -- check it out at Stella Rocks -- At Least According To The Saturday Evening Post -- RamonaCreel.com if you missed it!

Really Cool

Wow! You guys are living my dream! Hopefully one day soon, we can do this. Our almost grown (17-19) girls are the ONLY thing keeping us back. Once the youngest gets settled in her dorm room this next year, they can both come have Thanksgiving, Christmas and summer break wherever we happen to be living at the time Happy trails to you two. May you have many sunny days ahead. Keep Streaming....

Also Cool!

Hey Ramona, was just looking at your traveling pics and discovered you guys had been through Selma (6 miles from our home in Valley Grande) and enjoyed looking at all of your snapshots of your travels. How did you enjoy Gee's Bend? Neat, wasn't it? Where are you guys currently?

Great article! I've known two couples who tried full-time RVing for a year after retiring only to sell the RV and return to a permanent home. Happy travels. Thanks for sharing!

That's because they felt they had to be near the grandchildren. They go home to become baby sitters and support systems for their kids and grandkids. Too Bad.
Recommedation: Practice for retirement as much as you can, find interests other than work, practice living on your expected retirement income, then do it as soon as you can. These guys discoverd it in their 30's, we did in our 40's and the RV is a great way to learn to live without so much stuff.
Thanks for the story.
