This could be good news. This should help continue Elons progress with the Starlink constellation and ground base infrastructure, but it might congest the network quite a bit.
My guess would be that these OEM systems would operate on the same deprioritize network that the RV plan currently operates on and may also be limited in the amount of data they have.
As RV’s continue to become “smarter” the need for connectivity rises. Simple task like temperature monitoring and system condition SMS notifications are all wonderful to have it just means more connectivity.
I absolutely love the VRM side of my Victron equipment. Being able to adjust inside temperature, monitor tank levels, and get text notifications if cabin, fridge, or freezer temp fall out of my preset parameters are very nice.
We’ve have the “regular” Starlink for over a year now and have nothing but positive things to say about it.

Now let’s see how bad Thor can mess it up.

Thor’s press release only mentions “motorized RVs”. For Airstream I guess that means only the B-vans? The in-motion antenna they are using is very power hungry, so perhaps that’s why it’s only being offered on motorized RVs, unless that’s a mistake of overly specific wording. Airstream seems unconcerned about power usage in their trailers though, so who knows.

Hey Ronnie, how do you get the cerbo gx to display the DC power consumption?

I've got a pretty similar setup in my trailer. My next project is to add the ruuvi temp sensors (fridge, freezer, lounge, bedroom, and outside air temp) to the cerbo.

I'm using the resistive tank sensors built into aluminum tanks, connected to the cerbo resistive sensor ports to monitor my propane levels.

Fresh/grey/black tank levels are courtesy of an NMEA2000 version of the SeeLevel display communicating the tank levels over canbus.
