Hi Group,Just returned from KY and the 43rd RVIA show. Two models of the new Airstream Basecamp were there. A version that is capable of hauling a 4 wheeler ATV inside and the other with the tent addition on back. Most '06 models have a special 75th anniversary insignia on the side near the door. There was NOT a new "classic" motorhome shown :-(There was a 19 foot "retro styled" Anniversary edition. It has a round porthole style window in the entrance door. Vintage looking fabric on the front dinette cushions, vintage styled lighting fixtures flanking the dinette, retro look floor covering, retro counter tops with metal chrome edging, and an L shaped sofa in the curb side rear. The bath is on the road side, and is a dry bath.Painted wheels and "baby moon style" hubcaps finish out the look.I overheard that there are only going to be 75 of the retro anniversary editions produced. Estimated retail price near 50K.
