We got one!

Yesterday we bought our first Airstream! First it has to be brought overseas and then we can start restoring it.
So prepare to answer a load of questions

Rivet Congratulations!

Welcome to the fold. You have a lot of good times ahead.

There will always be requests for more pictures. What is that on the door? How about one of that?

It looks like a nice unit. Have you actually been here to inspect it in person or relying on pictures and someone to help?

That looks like a decal of a large mouth bass on the door.

Congratulations on the new Airstream. Looks like a 31 foot center bath. The alloy wheels and Zip Dee awning are a nice benefit.

The image on the door appears to be that of Kokoppelli the Anasazi flute player. That would suggest to me that this trailer may have come from the four corners area of the southwestern US.

Maybe of some help to you

Nice looking. Don't forget to get a window rockguard before it ships. Anything at all that it needs....get it before it leaves.

A Texas contact you might like...
Holland Ranch, RV Park and Camping, Buffalo Texas

They have ...or had...several Airstreams...for their camping operation.

Yes! Hollandranch belongs to Hans and Bianca. Our Airstream will go there before shipping to The Netherlands.
I surfed the internet and it looks like kokopelli, nice name for our Trailer.

I like that name!!

Being that the reference is a WIKI item....I think that an update photo of the Airstream and logo belongs there.

If you need more help over here...please call.

for the uninformed....

Be careful for what you ask for.

Kokopelli is a fertility deity, usually depicted as a humpbacked flute player (often with a huge phallus and feathers or antenna-like protrusions on his head), who has been venerated by some Native American cultures in the Southwestern United States. Like most fertility deities, Kokopelli presides over both childbirth and agriculture. He is also a trickster god and represents the spirit of music.[1]

I don't think it's Kokopelli—no flute or giant phallus. Few representations on Kokopelli include the phallus, but you can see rock art near Bluff, Utah, with it if someone hasn't defaced them by now. I took some photos of them years ago, but they didn't come out—weird.

Actually it's the door to the bathroom with an international symbol of someone getting ready to sit on the toilet.

Congratulations on your new Airstream and you'll always know where the bathroom is.

Congratulations and welcome to the club! So tell us, are the furnace, water heater and refer already recently replaced, or do you have them on order?

The exterior looks wonderful, and even the front lounge (couch, gaucho, whatever you call it) looks great, too!

If you decide you don't want the clock and weather guage, just let me know...

Aage
