Well, unless they have already been replaced, they are always over 35 years old. Do you or anyone you know own and use any appliances that old that are still in good working condition?
More questions to ask, and more things to put on your list of items to buy before export...

If there are things to be replaced, wouldn't it be better to replace them in the states? Then you avoid shipping new parts across the ocean assuming they are made here. I don't know how shipping a trailer works, but if weight is figured in, shipping a trailer with old axles and shipping new axles means shipping that weight twice. Flying to the US and overseeing repairs might be cheaper than waiting 'til the trailer gets to Europe.

So it does, Richard.
I knew it looked vaguely familiar, but was small enough for me not to make it out. It's not like I got up out of the chair and got closer to the screen or anything.

The Airstream is taken to Hollandranch in Buffalo. There it will be inspected and broken things will be fixed, or new ones will be thrown in. Axles are changed overhere with european axles so don't need to take them.
Got mail! The Kokopelli has arrived

Took it into photoshop to have a look see... Looks like the kokopelli guy to me.
The wife and I went to the 4 corners a couple years back while going from VA to Utah and back for an off-roading vacation. We bought a Kokopelli tile that they made there not knowing it was for fertility. We found out after getting home and placing it on the mantle
Congrats on the trailer and have fun using it!!

Kind of looks like Kokopelli, or a guy with an awful headache. I'm sure a lot of people buy Kokopelli stuff and don't know about the meaning. They usually don't tell you about that and only tell you he's a flute player.

Love the "Guy with an aweful headache" comment because it so much does look like it... HAHAHAHA! Looks like maybe they used a stencil and black spray paint to put it on. Hrmm. Would be really interesting to use vinyl graphic shapes, polish around them and pull them off, would look like sand-blasting.

Removing Kokopelli may cause a lack of fertility. That could save you a lot of headaches.

cream puff also cream·puff (kr m p f ) n. 1. A shell of light pastry filled with whipped cream, custard, or ice cream.
2. Slang A weakling.
3. Slang An old, especially secondhand car in very good condition.
I your case I would propose definition #3.

It's definitely good news. You have a trailer in remarkably good shape, from the photos shown.
Best of luck with it, and may you enjoy your work on it and your travels in it!
