I do not yet own an Airstream, but I have the opportunity to buy a 76 Sovereign that appears to be in good condition both inside and out. It does have tires that are a bit weather cracked. Does anyone have any price guidance?
Make sure you check out ALL of the systems, as well as the axles, check for rear end sag, cracked frame, axle condition, all lights and the like. Anything in the $2-$4k range is most likely reasonable, but there are exceptions above and below that!

Check the floor on the inside starting behind the kitchen if it starts to run downhill to the back its a sign of frame sag.
I payed $3500 for mine, stripped about everything out rebuilt the interior and fixed the frame. Probally put another 2K in it.

Two of them were sold in my neck of the woods in the past 3 weeks. I looked at them just out of curiosity and they both were in pretty decent shape. A '76 w/rear bath sold for $4000 and a '75 w/side bath sold for $4500. Both needed new tires.
