New old guy

I posted in the new members section also.

I will be picking up my 1975 sovereign next week. I want to get the TBC installed on my truck before attacking the hill in SW Virginia.

The trailer needs some work so I will be picking your brains.

The first two problems I saw were the awning and the water hook-up.
The awning got caught by the the PO just half way rolled it up. I don't know what I will find when I get in to it. They wanted to relocate the water inlet and that is unfinished. I don't think the plumbing will be a problem.

Thanks in advance for any and all help, pete

Welcome to the forums, Pete, and congratulations on your Airstream.

If your awning is a Zip Dee, they have a lot of trouble shooting, and repair advice on their website.

Welcome. You aren't too far from Virginia Highland Haven - an Airstream only RV park just off the Blue Ridge Parkway - between Floyd and Roanoke. That might be a good place to visit and meet a bunch of other Airstream restorers. Also the closest Airstream dealer to you is (OODM) Out of Doors Mart, in Colefax NC. a dealer which stocks a lot of vintage parts.

Today is a gift, that's why they call it the present.
