There is a post called "Attaching Photos to a post or thread...in 4 easy steps" by Inside Out. Use search w/those words and you should get answer. I will try to recreate here, but your search will probibly be faster!

I haven't had a chance to review the steps since the upgrade last week...they probably have changed a bit. I thought of this last night...but just haven't gotten around to revisiting/revising them...I'll have to put that on my mile long "To Do List"

Shari, I had lots of spare time today since it was too cool to tinker with my Caravel so maybe this will help.

The photo size limit in a thread is 640 X 480 Pixels. In the photo forum the upload size is bigger.

photo size
I read somewhere here that most pics come out great at about 300x500. I am thinking about re-doing my pics in "My Gallery" cause most are in the 640x400 range and about all my available space is used up w/just 20 pics in there. You might be able to go even smaller in a thread. Just a thought or 2.

Very nice indeed. Thanks for sharing.
Leigh, rather than reducing your image size in your gallery,
you might want to use one of the free photo sharing sites such as Webshots or Yahoo for lots of extra space. I've mentioned this before but it works well for me.
If you click on my user name then on "visit Rog0525's homepage" you'll see that I've set the Webshots site as my homepage. I like the "view slideshow" feature and it's a nice backup for my photos if, heaven forbid, my pc ever crashes.
I have other non-AS albums there as well.

I'd rather buy more hard drives and have higher resolution images than cause people to repost with smaller images... I just increased the amount of space per member to 10MB. That should give you some room to grow.

Thanks Andy,
...not that I was in any danger of reaching my limit

Attaboy Andy
Very nice of you to provide the extra space.
I really like the ability to attach larger images and post multiple images w/o linking to a web page with the new software.

Thanks!
Hey Andy - thanks alot for the added space. I wasn't hinting or anything!
but it will be nice to leave pics in order of how I added them.
Rog - I will look into your idea. It seems I remember reading your previous posts and thought that was wise (to not loose pics). I have soooo much fun trying to figure these things (computers, software, etc)out that I feel weary after successfully adding a few new photos here in MY Gallery. But, I'm tenacious enough to keep trying. Thanks for the reminder.
