Broken Hitch

Hello all,

My 76' Sovereign has a broken hitch latch.

Does anyone out there know the replacement size or at least what size ball is needed to tow it?

Thanks!

Depending on what's broken, you may find a replacement part at VintageTrailerSupply.com

I replaced the latch mechanism on my '61 with no problem. Was a "Marvel" hitch for 2" ball.

It seems like the spring may be bad, I haven't taken it part yet.

Do you know if mine uses a 2" ball as well?

Yours takes a 2 5/16" ball.
