my 'home made' slide

We get a lot of people look at our 34 classic slide and just don't believe that it came from the factory that way. Some people will stand there and argue with me and all but call me a liar. So I just tell them that I built it myself. That.... they can believe! It's like a two stroke Harley Davidson! It is just something that some people can't imagine. So, I have already built a slide for my Airstream and it costs a dollar to get a peek!
Best of luck with your build but I think that it would be easier to find a good one and just buy it.
Best regards

Harley did make two strokes.

They were in HD golf carts and trucksters. The golf carts reversed engine rotation for rev and the truckster had a transmission and work box.

I worked on them at a course in late 70ís

Just trivia.

And slides are cool.

HD also made 2 stroke dirt bikes back then.
Good judgment comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

HabaNaHaba, curious to know how the project is going. I came across this video and thought of you. "Historical Airstream: Building Dreams is our Business". The testing was pretty vigorous to say the least. Would love an update.

Ditto, an update would be appreciated.
