Horizontal Propane

After 20+yrs of enjoying our 98 Classic/Limited FK; our local propane service company has real concerns with the apparent liquid propane that is exiting our 40lb horizontal tanks. This supplier went above & beyond to drain, remove the valves, contact Worthington tank (not very helpful) and currently due to safety concerns I have to use my tanks in a vertical position. Apparently my valves (original as far as I can tell) do not have a bent-tube that would reach the vapor area in the tank. Does anyone have a source for a correct type of valve set-up?
By the way, all has always appeared to be working perfectly for our multiple propane appliances.

Your propane dealer should be able to get you the parts you need.

I have horizontal tanks on my coach which are from 1974. They are essentially forklift tanks, and when I went to have them filled a few years ago the local propane shop did a complete retrofit with new valves, tubes, etc. and re-certified them for continued operation.

Though I am still searching for the right shop on our MD/DE eastern
shore area, thank you for the helpful input.
