Are there any other 1982 Limiteds out there?
Is there anyone else with the forum who owns an '82 Limited?

I know I must be reserrecting a very old thread, but not a lot of activity here.
My father just purchased an '82 31' limited. It looks pretty nice outside. Typical wear and a few dings, but for a 25 year old tow behind, it looks good.
I doubt he'll be taking it very many places as I think his intention was to purchase something that they could live in while they remodel the house.

limited specs
Hi
I am looking to the specs, how wide is your trailer, and how much is the dry weight? I am looking for a lmited from the early 80's but they are difficult to find.
I found one in mississipi, but I think 12K for a 31 footer that needs some work is alot.
what do you think?
Thanks
Brian

bstjames Regarding your question as to the value of an '82 Limited. Our trailer has been valued by two Airstream dealers for insurance purposes at $17,000 and $20,000. I have it insured for an agreed value of $20,000. Of course, ours has been stored inside all its life and needs absolutely nothing. The exterior finish looks almost new with no clear coat issues and the inside as well as all systems are pristine. A unit with issues would be worth less.

I just bought a 1982 Limited it has the brown strip around it not the blue. I am just learning about it. what is the differance between the blue strip and the brown strip?
Just the color, I know that already, my friend told me that the day we got it back to its new home.

I fell in love with airstreams because of my 82 limited
yes, i dont really like the green shag carpet, but it's spotless!.... along with everything else in it.
I would like to get rid of the tacky woodgrain stripe, but I think I'll leave her just the way she is

There sure are a lot of Airstreamers in Austin, I had no idea!
I have seen GStephens' '82 Limited in person, and it is immaculate. An absolutely beautiful trailer.
I'm sure everyone would like to see photos of yours as well, Mary.

All over austin's east side are driveways with tucked away older airsteams. Austin is definitely into the "retro" thing.
Yes in a month or so I will be moving into my 310 so I'll post some pics of decorated ( yea, I like art) and raw
