Converting every thing to electric (110 volts)

I am 84 years old have been camping since the late 50s. Have owned 5 TT, last 3 were airstreams. one in Europe. I would like to convert every thing in my 89 25 ft excella to 110 volts. My main objective is to remove the two 12 volt batterys. I could most likely do it with one exception. How to power my break a way switch for the electric brakes. Any suggestions. We now only camp in full hook up camp grounds. Thanks for any suggestions and/or solutions.

maybe you can get an engineer to design a storage circuit for you. You'd need to know the maximum current and time required to bring your trailer to a full stop after it detaches at your maximum speed and load. Then a gigantic capacitor with a load resistor sized to deliver the amount of current etc etc... kind of a big deal I think... Maybe a small motorcycle battery charged by the TV would be easier

If by "convert everything" you mean "convert the 12v electrical system to a 120v system" you really don't need to do that if all you want to do is eliminate the big wet-cell batteries. A modern converter-charger will provide you with stable DC power without having a battery in the loop if you wish, and you could buy one of the small AGM batteries designed to support breakaway switches for trailer that don't need a battery otherwise.

If you mean to convert your various propane appliances to 120v that's another issue, and you'd be better off adding 50A service to your trailer if that's your goal, since the demands for that could be pretty high for a 30A setup.

I know on my Moho I have the option to switch between propane and 12v or 110 on my refrigerator and water heater. And my stovetop is propane only. I've already had an instahot water heater installed. My next project is ditching propane all together. I always use my two burner induction cooktop and I'm having my oven replaced with a dishwasher. As I have a Moho I still need 12v for traveling...but I hate having to remember to refill propane. The only thing I was using it for was my outdoor grill...I may keep it for that and get an infrared grill but the taste isn't the same. My parent's class A is all electric, as are most high end class As today apparently. Gone are the days of propane it would seem.

I want to go to "all electric" 120 system, too. If you figure this out... I'd be very interested in knowing what to buy (converter, etc)

A purely mechanical break a way brakes are possible. There are electric trailer brakes with mechanical parking brakes for sale on eBay, and ReadyBrake sells a emergency break a way kit for toads that might could be set up to activate them. But the small battery systems used with non RV trailers would be simpler and cheaper, as suggested.
