Wanted: A/S clothing patch

Hey, we're looking for patches for our bowling shirts. We have a mardi gras crew here in st. louis, and have ordered bowlingshirts for the parade this year. We want to show our airstream pride while out and about....

Didn't see any at A/Strailers.com.

Any suggestions???

I haven't seen any either. Maybe you can pick up one of the caps from the Airstream site.

Not a bad idea. Someone needs to work on making them...

The first thought that I had was an iron-on tranfer. If you have an ink-jet printer it is an easy process to create an iron-on using the special transfer paper for that purpose - - I have found it at Wal Mart as well as any number of other places that carry computer supplies. With the transfer paper, an iron-on tranfer is as close as finding a photo of your favorite Airstream, using a paint-type program to open and edit the photo if you wish; then print the result on the transfer papers and iron-on. For best results with these iron-on transfers, you will need to be sure to follow directions regarding the cotton content of the fabric to which the transfer is applied.

Another possibility would be to find a local craftsperson with a computer controlled embrodery machine who could scan an image of your favorite Airstream and produce an embroidered likeness on the fabric of your choice - - there is a vendor at many of the larger WBCCI Rallys who offers a service along this line.

Fantastic. Don't have much experience with the computer, didn't know you could make iron-ons! I'll have to go check that out!

I'd be interested about the embrodery possibilities. I tried to have some Harley patches done for a road-trip 2 yrs. ago. The 3 places around our area that I went to would not copy and/or reproduce tm material...Let us know if you have any luck.

I had several shirts done at international in Vermont. It has an Airstream trailer with my numbers under it and my name over. What design were you thinking about?
