Repairs Tampa area?

I will need a reputable dealer to go over my 2001 Excella. It has been sitting for about 4 years under cover. I need someone I can trust to go over it throughly, accuately and honestly. I will be towing it 3,200 miles and I am a bit nervous about the road worthiness. Especially since I know almost nothing about what I am doing. I haven't ever had service in that area before, but I have delt with the parts department. Most of the time I got voice mail and had to call many many times to talk to someone. Also, when my part came in I had the same experience.
Any help would be much appresiated.

There are only two Airstream Dealers in the State of Florida. One is Bates in Tampa, and the other is Sanders in Alachua, right outside of Gainesville.

I am not sure that you need an Airstream Dealer. All of the appliances are pretty much standard RV stuff and the really important stuff, the running gear (bearings and brakes) are pretty universal. The only thing unique to your Airstream is the axles and it is unlikely that they have failed.

If all of the appliances are working, then you really need a good brake shop to inspect the electric brakes and repack the bearings.

If the appliances are not working, get the brakes/bearings done locally and then pull it to an RV repair facility.

Glad you mentioned other repair shops. I would have liked to keep it in the AS family, but not it I'm not going to get personable service in a reasonable amout of time.
