Apologies for touting an alternative option, but I recently ditched our bed lights for
these. We don't like the brightness of the factory model, fiddling around finding the switch, and they can't be adjusted. Also bugs get stuck inside them.
The alternative are touch on and off and can dim and brighten and remember the setting. They have a blue ring that acts as a nightlight but can be turned off. However, the color can't be changed and they are little whiter than the factory ones.
I paid full price but they are 50% off for Black Friday. They are all metal and seem to be good quality.
I also replaced the puck lights over our dining table for the same reason with
these.
