Question Best place for service in Sacramento California area

We need to find a quality service facility to make some major repairs to our '67 Globetrotter that we just acquired. We are in the Sacramento, California area (Auburn? Grass Valley? Roseville?). Any recommendations?

I don't know of Airstream savy folks in the area but if you find one/some please let us know.

Well I know the AS Dealer in Sac is Down by Arden.. Why can't I remember the name is beyond me, it's off El Camino. We've looked at new trailers there but have never bought or had repairs done their. Steve boght his Bambi years ago from the place in Los Banos and had to have some repair work done there. I don't remember him complaining about thier work. It's a drive but not to bad. PM Steve and he can proably be of more assistence then I can.
P.S. Have you ever stored your Trailer in Loomis? We store our guy in Loomis and for awhile had an Old Little AS in the same lot. It's gone and our little boy misses it a bunch. We just loved it and hoped it belonged to someone who would fix her up nice.

We purchased our Airstream from RVs of Sacramento, 1051 El Camino Ave, Sacramento, CA 95815, (916) 648-1314. Don't know whether they work on older Airstreams though.

Try Toscano?

Dealer in Sacramento is ( I believe..) owned by folks who own Manteca Trailers, and services in Sacramento are limited. If I were trying to decide between either Manteca or Toscano's in Los Banos, I know I'd head down I-5 to work with Ron at Toscano's.. With an appointment, you can arrange to sleep in unit on property and get out without multiple trips, or you can leave it over weekend. There is new dealer in Richmond area off State Hwy 4, but they just signed ion in 2005 and may not have much history..

The former owner of my Airstream stored it in Loomis. They prefered repairs at Toscano's. They didn't like the service in Sacramento. Also, you might think of going to Mt. Family RV, South of Reno. 775 849 1005. They are active with the Sierra Nevada Unit.
