A/S facilities for bodywork in the South

Can someone recommend a repair facility in the South (Florida to Arizona) and secondarily as far as California that can replace aluminum sections and blend them to existing finish? Probably all three damaged sections above the rear window of our 1988 A/S travel trailer will have to be replaced and recoated. Am concerned about the finished product being blended to the finish and tone of the existing finish. I've seen some two tone looking skin replacements and am skiddish about it turning out this way. This unit had been refinished by P&S in Ohio a couple years ago when the previous owners had it and they did a beautiful job. However they are too far North for me. We hope to get the work done this fall on our way to AZ from Fl. I can't have anything done sooner as am working in Alaska for the season. Thanks in advance suggestions you can give me, Pat

Welcome to the forums Pat. I don't have experience with them, but I believe the dealer in Gainsville/Alachua has the experience and capability to do body work on Airstreams. They are located just off of I-75 on the north side of Gainesville. Their address and phone number is: J.D. Sanders RV Center, 800-541-6439, 12380 NW Highway 441, Alachua, Florida

Check with Walt's RV in Ocala. He has been doing repairs for years, and is an authorized service center. Everyone that has used his services that I know have been very happy with his work.

Talk to these folks-

www.tourstream.com

They build and fabricate and are a full aircraft repair facility. They had several trailers in for service and polishing while I was investigating their techniques- my assumption is that they're over qualified. Good luck.

Thanks very much for your reply. I have saved this information and will be acting on it when I get close to returning to returning to Fl in October.
