According to the news release, the first units were not due to roll out until sometime in 2015, so I would think that might be a model year 2016.

Here is a link to the announcement.

That's the article I read that caused me to make the post. If it is for real I might consider buying one.

Regarding the Flying Cloud 25 better AC system to cool down the back bedroom. The rest of the trailer is quite comfortable but the bedroom remain hot.

Year the ducted AC in every unit 25ft or bigger is huge. Definitely looking at 15 now. The 25t flying cloud we rented that was one of our major complaints. Very loud ac that did not cool well

This may be a dumb question, but: is the heat ducted too, or just the A/C ? (The heater fan is also annoyingly noisy!)

The heat is already "ducted".

I believe the heat is only ducted when using your propane system. When using the Heat Pump it is not ducted and is loud. When at a RV park I use their electricity instead of my propane.

Common guys....heat from propane is ducted already....this new "air conditioning ducting" in 25" and above, logically would include electric heat if used, right?? IE same vent as air... Lets think about this....

Too bad you can't please all the people all of the time.

Obviously dripping water=bad. Patrick, did Airstream address this issue with you all during the meetings? Seriously considering the 2015 FC over the discounted 2014 FC's. Decisions, decisions.

For those that don't do Farcebook, and don't want to watch Youtube videos, here is a photo of the ducted a/c system. Nothing sticking down, and even the grills don't protrude into the ceiling. Supposed to be standard on all models 25 feet long and longer:

The ducted air looks really nice. Does the new roof hump add anything to the height of the trailer? I guess that only matters if you're approaching a 10' overpass and want to know whether you'll squeak thru.

There are some new 2015 Eddie Bauer, International, and Flying Cloud videos on Youtube.

I think the new ducted A/C looks really great on the inside. Finally Airstream is starting to add features that have been around for years on modern Motorhomes and 5th wheels.

While the current blinds are a little flimsy at least you can control the light and privacy. It appears that the Ocean Air shades do not give you that option.

While I do enjoy my Flying Cloud I am a little envious when looking at SOB's as they seem to have more creature comforts for hanging out in the trailer all day. Having said that the Airstreams really have all that one needs and they are much better built.

It seems like Airstream is listening to us. I wouldn't be surprised if Airstream had someone on staff whose job is to hang out on forums and note what customers are wanting. Almost every complaint I have ever had has been addressed with the 2015 models. I have spoken with Dave Schuman, Randy McNeeley, Chris Burch, and others at Airstream. I am very vocal. I think they are listening.

Airstream 2015

Having been referred to as SOB from both the Tiffin folk and the Airstream folks, i am now back where I belong. My 2015 Serenity 30RB is scheduled for production June 5 and I should have it by the middle of the month.

Some of what I understand about it. The ducted a/c and addition to the roof adds about 3 inches to the height, so I think it is 9'-10' or about 10'-4" would be required for safe passage.

A Clarion XM Radio is included. And the new TV antenna does not require any cranking up or down.

Colors I am not certain about, but mine will have Espresso UltraLeather recliners. Once I have taken delivery, i will be doing some modifications, minor, and will also give a full report on all the nice changes.

Does anyone know the actual height of the new airstreams with ducted AC? I saw the 2015 specs on the colonial airstream web site but it still states 9'7" which is the height of my 2012.
