2012 Golden Night Color Scheme

I have just returned from the Airstream 2011 dealer meeting. On display was the new Golden Night color scheme. Golden Night is the replacement to Midnight Sun. It features a high gloss countertop. Let me know what you think.

I rather like it, Patrick. I especially like the comforter fabric. I think the countertops look pretty good, too. Thanks for sharing!

Full Circle..

Looks like 1980. What is up with the shiney surfaces coming back, they wear and frankly look like cheap materials compared to the matte finishes of previous years. I always thought the Midnight Sun looked really sharp and a cut above other RV interiors.

The other nice one they have is "Praline", really clean looking.

A bit too earthy for my taste.

I like the deep jade-green dinette top, but would pair that with a more dramatic uphostery colour like black with emerald and sapphire throw cushions.

Good design, the glossy countertop surfaces work nicely with the shiny aluminum walls. The fabrics look decent and practical in a camping environment, some gold in there coordinates with the "wood" tone.

I think the interior is fabulous, but I can't recall seeing a new AS in which I didn't like the interior!

Mostly, it's the light wood colours that many of them have, I think. But even the really dark ones are nice.

Now why would you need a mirror when you have all that shiny aluminum everywhere?

Send a message via Yahoo to Leprechauna
I've been looking at Airstreams and other TT's. Going with the AS because of the light openness. These dark colors remind me of all the other travel trailers I've looked at, and disliked. But if someone willed it too me, I'd be very happy.

I like the color combination but the shiny surface would concern me that it would be more likely to show scratches.
