Our New Excella 1000

We bought the trailer in Wilmington,NC and I have just returned home with it. The trailer was better than what the dealer described. On our way home I stopped at the factory, Jackson Center and had them do the brakes, bearings and take out the rear AC unit along with a check up on the trailer itself. There are a few cosmetic things to fix and then the trailer will be in "new" condition. My new E350 Super Duty Ford Van pulls the trailer like there is nothing behind and after Jackson Center correctly installed the Reese sway bars the ride was smooth as can be.

Kent, did you sell the motor home? The new trailer looks great. You'll have a lot of enjoyment from that unit.

A little older

Larry and I just bought a 1989 29' Excella 1000. We are having fun adjusting it to us. Can't wait to see pictures of yours. Very nice find!

Yes, we sold the motor home, ChummyII. As some of you know Balrgn got his start in Airstreaming by purchasing our 1975 Tradewind and look where he is now. The folks who bought Chummy II remind me of Andre and Susan. He collects and rebuilds cars, hot rods and anything else mechanical. She loves to tinker with the insides. So we felt Chummy II got a good home. He made the journey to Denver with no problem and nor lives inside a garage. He's going to be spoiled.
