leaky water tank etc.

my recently purchased 93 excella 1000 30' was found to have a cracked(3) water tank( guess thats one of the reasons the old curmudgeon sold it )...local shop called airstream...dont make any more... they are searching.... anybody got an idea?... also the 2 piece lugnuts were worn and a bear to take off... just replace with standard lugnuts?
noby...

Call Airstream yourself, direct. I find it hard to believe there is no factory replacement. Or call Andy at Inland RV (http://inlandrv.com/).

Failing that, there are several companies that manufacture new tanks to your specification. It will take some research on the net, but they are out there.

Good luck,

Mark

noby,
My lugnuts were giving me a problem too. The aluminum cover was bent out of shape about the second or third time I took them off. I just replaced them with regular lug nuts and had no more problems. Good luck with the water tank!

You can try Inca Plastics for a replacement for your tank.
