Sheets that FIT!!

Just wanted to pass along a tip for those that are still struggling with ill fitting sheets on the Bambi. www.sheetsusa.com is a US company that manufactures customs sheets for RVs (and Airstreams in particular) in Nebraska. They have a really neat design. The top and bottom sheets are attached at the foot. The bottom sheet, at the head, has a pocket that ships over the mattress, then the sheet set is pulled to the foot, tucked in and locked in place with velcro in such a way as to form another pocket. No elastic used. Once the bottom is locked in place, the top sheet is then pulled back to the head and there is NO way that either sheet can be pulled loose. The design incorporates the rounded corners of our beds. The price is $37.10 and that includes 2 pillow cases. The quality is top notch. Highly recommend.

Also, they have custom sheets for MANY other A/Ss so check out the website. If you don't find your exact model, give them a call and talk to Deb as they may have patterns already, just not showing on the website (that was the case with the Bambi). Really nice people to work with.

I can't get the link to work. Google can't find them under that name, either.

Be sure to check...

Before ordering, carefully measure your mattress size. These sheet sets are tailored to an exact fit. Also, the Bambi set has rounded corners at the left head and right foot areas. I originally ordered the set for the International CCD as that was the closest size they listed at the time. They did fit width/depth wise but were a bit too long. I was going to just modify them, but then yargseth called them on the same issue and they found where they had made a set exactly for a 1999 19' previously, so they asked us to both to return our incorrect sets and they would replace them with the exact fitting set. If your mattress does not measure exactly to the dimensions shown on the website, I would contact them before ordering to see if they have a better fit.

great sheets indeed!

I have a set of these for my 310 Motorhome and they are fabulous. I recommend sending an exact diagram with all measurements when ordering. Sheetsusa originally made ours to the wrong dimensions, but re-made them immediately and without charge when their error was pointed out, Outstanding customer service!

The only issue I have with this company is they only use Percale which is 50/50 (cotton/poly). The reasoning being that 100% cotton shrinks, and that could be a problem wiith the (I assume) tight fitting design. For sheets, I'm a 100% cotton fan myself, so I'm going to take a set of cotton FLANNEL sheets and alter the bottom sheet a bit. Possibly sew in a cord along the edge of the fitted sheet so I can sinch the sheet around the underside of the mattress. The alteration shouldn't take long. I'll probably replace the elastic with the cord.
