Heading out for our first big trip to Yellowstone

I've spent the last month repairing, fixing up and upgrading a 27 foot 1999 Safari - very excited for our first big family trip on the road. We're starting out from the San Francisco Bay Area and heading up highway 80 - we will get to West Yellowstone on the fourth of July.

If you see a silver Mercedes GL with 10 year old twins in the back towing a Safari - please say hi !

Have a great trip. We're leaving on the 9th from Gig Harbor WA and staying in West Yellowstone and then heading for Teton and then Glacier........ Wave if you see us we'll be in the sharp silver trailer.

We had an awesome trip - just got back this morning. Put on about 3,000 miles in total. Posted a ton of pictures on my facebook account - Daniel Druker | Facebook

Only scare was tread separation on two of our Good Year Marathon tires that I noticed doing a brake check on the Teton pass - so had some stressful driving going slowly to Idaho Falls to get new rubber.
