I just visited this site & read through most of it, wish I'd seen it before. That is one of the best written documents in this genre that I've seen. Those basic appraisal principles can be applied to most any vintage acquisition.
Welcome to the Forums and the world of Vintage Airstreaming!

If what you need is a written appraisal for insurance purposes, there are a few possibilities depending upon what your insurance carrier is willing to accept. In my situation, I was able to get appraisals from a professional restorer who worked on my coaches that were acceptable to my insurance carrier. My carrier was also willing to accept appraisals from an Airstream dealer who was familiar with Vintage values - - there are several such dealers across the country, but I am not certain about those located in the Northwest.
Good luck with your search for further information!

Thanks to all who posted concerning Safari appraisal info.
I purchased our 1966 Safari from Tom Brokaw's brother in Stayton, Oregon several years ago. It needs some TLC but is in very sound condition.
I am interested in appraising for insurance purposes as well as finding out what it could sell for. I may just keep it and "cherry" it out, if it is worth the trouble.
Thanks again to all who posted such useful information.
