What are these (Mystery Cushions)?
Two mystery cushions came with our '66 Safari twin. The PO showed them to when we bought the trailer, but didn't show me where they were intended to be used. They stow under the dinette table, behind the upholstered cushion that is the extension for the curbside twin bed.
Can anyone tell me where these are to be used?

Those cushions are called bolsters.
They go behind the lower back side of the cushions, sit on top of the plywood platform, where the void is when the cushions are at 90 degrees, so that there is support below the top cushion, when sitting down.
They "are" important.

I wish I would have asked that question before I threw mine away because of mold. Now I need to make new ones.

But...your helping the economy.
The mold probably was caused by the windows leaking water.
Check the window gaskets and the window fit.

Bolsters for '66 Safari Twin
Looking for more pics of bolsters for the twin beds. Are they used as part of the bed, when extended?

Safari cushions
No, they are used to keep the bed from sliding to the flat position when it's used as a couch. Frankly, they're kinda in the way when it's used as a bed.
I have the pictures you want, somewhere…
I'll keep looking and will post them when I find them.

Found the photos
Here are the photos of the cushion that does form part of one of the beds. This fits under the dinette table on top of the fresh water tank cover when it's not in use to extend the curbside twin bed.
I have photos of the other two beds, so let me know if you need those also.

Thanks for sending photos and if you have bolster photos, I'll take a look at those too! Too bad that they are useless when the bed is being used. I'm having them made and should have them soon.

Bolster photo is in Post #1 in this thread with my original question. That's the only photo I have of those.
Sorry to be so long in answering this. First time I've looked at this thread for quite a while.
