SWMBO said let's camp this summer

So, my hunting shack (68 Safari) must be converted back to "our" Airstream. Way back when I joined this forum I discussed the state of the campground storage site find that I spent almost 2 years getting usable. I haven't been active on here for along time so it's time to do some research on must dues!

Air Conditioners have been discussed on here so much I don't know where to start so help me out. I have a window unit that fits nicely in the rear window using a 1X4 as a brace and some 1" foam as filler. Works real well but it's obviously a red neck fix. So I'm not as strong nor as flexible as I once was and putting it in and replacing at every stop is becoming a chore. What's my options on permanently installing it?

Next new thread will be replacing windows so be thinking along that path as well.
